FXS gateways connect traditional analog phones and fax machines to a VoIP phone system. FXO gateways add FXO ports to an IP PBX so it can connect more PSTN lines — making and receiving calls over PSTN even if power or internet goes down.

All Yeastar VoIP gateways support the SIP protocol. Most also support standard codecs including G.711, G.722, G.726, and G.729A.

The TA Series FXS, the Analog Telephone Adapter, the TE Series E1/T1/PRI, and the TB Series BRI gateways support T.38 fax over IP. The TA Series FXO gateway does not support T.38 fax.

Yes — the TG Series GSM gateway supports communication between 2G/3G/4G cellular and VoIP.
